As you can see the Canopy was a finishing touch to our House. It looks like it was in the original plans for this building.
From a practical point now the Main Entrance Door will be protected and it will close properly because it will no longer be exposed to the rain and snow. The Inter-come and bells  will also be spared (They always malfunctioned when it rained)
and  our Garden Level will not get flooded anymore.

Margaret Pittaway, Melbourne Australia:  Yes, the canopies arrived in good order and are installed. Thank you for crating them up so well – they didn’t move! One crate got a big thumping on one corner, but thanks to your bracing on the corner, no harm came to the canopies. It took a while for the crates to be opened after delivery, but the installation was a breeze – perfect fit!

I don’t think you could risk crating them up with any lighter material either – despite the increase in weight. They were protected very well. I am delighted with them and they look fantastic. I will talk with you pre-Christmas – am confident of generating more orders in the future.

Garry Clarke, Vancouver, British Columbia: I have a very high opinion of this company. They do excellent work and dealt fairly and generously with a difficult situation that was not of their making. Several months ago I placed an on-line order for a custom-made copper door canopy (essentially a copper awning to be installed above an exterior doorway).

I live in Vancouver, BC and the company is based in Houston, TX so a degree of trust is necessary before any order is placed. In my case the awning was sent via truck freight and a large metal-clad crate arrived, seemingly intact. Not immediately apparent when the goods were received was the fact that a fork lift had penetrated the base of the crate and crushed the canopy beyond repair. When I attempted to claim damage insurance from the shipper they sent out a damage inspector and I thought everything was on-track. To my amazement, the freight company declined responsibility for the damage and refused to pay any part of the claim. At this point James Threadgill of Classic Copper Works stepped in to offer a full replacement of the damaged item at no cost to me. I have now received the replacement item (this time sent by FedEx rather than the dodgy truck freight firm) and it is perfect. Classic Copper Works certainly did not make a profit on this transaction but they earned my respect. Thanks.
